the weather is finally gettting nice here also. cooling off a little bit and making it good walking weather.
i bet jud and ty are happy to get their bikes out and go ride again!! so is all the snow melted away now?? what does ty have to ride now... i thought he sold his bike?? if jud's wrist doesn't snap again, it will get good and strong from the riding. hopefully it holds up. his arm is already messed up enough as it is.
the work must really be going forward here to open up another mission.(A brand new mission is opening up in Teresina Brazil. That will make 27 missions in the country there.) thats awesome!!
you haven't got a chance to go check out aunt Steph and uncle Brent's house yet? you need to take a weekend and go down there. i bet that it is awesome. they spent a lot of time building it.
sounds like preston is going to look like logan when i get home in 2010. lots of changes going on.
keep sending the emails that brady sends home. i like getting them.
so i think if you put "digital camera" on the box that you sent, they are probably going to take it and i might have to pay some tax but we'll see how it goes. i will let ya know. it should be getting here soon.
our week went good here. me and my comp are gettting along really good. he´s an Idahoan too so we talk about good ol home a little bit. i sure miss the rocky mountains.... that jon denver´s full of it. hahaha.

Week of March 18th
hey fam
the week went by really good and surprisingly fast!! the baptisms went really well and Ednilson and Ariani are so happy to be members of the church now. after the baptism the ward threw a little wedding party for them and there was a live band with one of the irmãos in the ward. the music was really fun and even though i wasnt able to cut a rug on the dance floor it was really fun to watch the whole ward dance and have fun. the brazilians know their dancing!!
it was my zone's turn to go to the temple this week so today we spent all day there. it was really good like always and the session went really good. i always like to go into the baptismal room and look at all the pretty paintings and stuff. the temple is beautiful!
i got the letter with the pictures of stokes all remodeled. it is so much different, wow! the town is gonna change a lot probably by the year 2010.
i was thinking that trent's wedding was gonna have the cowboy theme. i bet dad fit right in with the levi 501´s. that's awesome that they are happy and things are going well for them. i cant believe that my buddy that i grew up with is married!!! crazyness!!! he really did like her a lot when i was still home and i figured that they would get married before i got home. i got the wedding anouncement in the mail.
the missionaries, im sure, would be glad to do a family home evening with the fam, mom. we love to get references from members. work on getting that all set up for them.
sounds like ty had a good time at the girls choice dance. if they took pictures, you need to send me some when ya get them. ty with his hair all slicked back like elvis and what not, thats a fun theme to have for a dance..
elder da cruz got his hymn book and he really liked it. he told me to tell you thanks.
im excited to get the new package. sounds like there will be some good stuff in it.
i love you guys and im glad to here that all is going well. keep working hard!!

Week of March 11th-9 months in Brazil!
Hey family
another transfer has passed and me and my comp are staying here together for one more. that means that i will be here for a few more months because he goes home this next transfer.
someone else will have to come here with me next transfer then i will train him in this area then i will probably go. so at least 2 more transfers here in caiuá.
im happy though because this area is good and the members like to help us out. this week went good.
nine months today!!! crazy-ness.
sounds like everything is going good back home. thats cool that the signs of spring are coming out for you guys. jud will stay busy now with his bike all spiffed up and ready to go for another year. try to send a picture of it maybe.
ty got him a cute date to the girls choice dance.... that should be really fun. if a remember right that girl that is taking him is really cute. i dont know why she would want to take ty though....jk. he already sold his new bike? i guess he always wanted to get a bigger one so now if he saves up his money he will be able to buy it. going to work at RKT is probably like going to a friends house to hang out for him. im sure he is working a lot but he sure liked to hang out and talk to the guy who owns the place. i bet he is really loving to work there..
by next year arien will have an immune system that will be able to fight off any germ that those kids bring in. is she planning to stay there at westside for a while??
how is the remodeling coming along there at stokes mom? have they got it looking like a walmart yet?
dad must be really busy keeping everything going there at coats rooter. he pretty much does all the dirty work. i would like to maybe work with him for a little while when i get home to save up some money again to get going with every thing. we'll see how it goes.
i still got a lot of good time out here doing this wonderfull work. this work really is something else. were going to have 2 baptisms this saturday!! Edinilson and Ariani, (that family that me and elder da cruz were teaching and baptized the kids) got married and so now they can get baptized. they really love the gospel and everything it is doing in their lives. they are really excited for their baptism.
thanks for getting the new camera mom. just as soon as you can get it out, the better. i havent been able to take any pictures for a long time.
im glad that gram is doing better and that you 2 were able to have a fun shopping day. im glad that i wasnt there though... you know how i love to shop... i hate to shop!! i love you guys so much!!!

Week of 03-04-09
hey fam
the week went by good, good and hot!!!! it is really humid and wet this time of the year.
sometimes people even stop us in the street to tell us that were crazy to be dressed the way we are in the heat. everything is going good though and there is only one more week left in this transfer already. looking back it seemed like it went by really fast.
the work is going good and each day im continuing to learn new things.
so how did larry miller die? i didnt think that he was that old... the jazz are still moving along then huh? so today we went to an american run pizza hut here!!! it was so good and i couldnt believe that i was still in brazil. it seemed like i was sitting back home.
trent is getting married. it seems so crazy!! my friend that i grew up with is getting his own place and moving to the next big step in life. they will be happy together. he really liked her. brittany foster also. lots of people from my grade are gonna be hitched by 2010.
i just about fell into and old man yesterday in the street!! i went up to talk to him and as i started to talk i tripped on a rock and about went down!! my comp and i were laughing so hard. the old man just kept on walking and said watch out for them little rocks, theyll get ya. it was way funny! good times on the mish!
i love you guys!! i hope that you are all happy and enjoyin life!
