Querida Familia,
Another week has come and passed and now my wonderful p-day is coming to an end. p day always goes by so fast! we had a zone activity today in portão with a few other groups of missionaries to play pool and pingpong and then we had an american food feast. it was way fun and i was able to talk with my trainer elder barrus for a little bit. he is going home in 2 months. he was going crazy and we laughed at some of the good times that we had together.
the week went good and we knocked a lot of doors and found some new people to teach. knocking doors isnt always the funnest thing to do but when ya have success its all worth it.
sounds like things are going good back home and your already having some early signs of spring... maybe it will warm up a little bit there for you guys.
the chocolates that you sent were so good! me and my comp really enjoyed the package.
if you can send the new camera as soon as possible that woulod probably be the best. the one i had before was a really good one so if you want to just find one similar to that one that would be good. the one i have is done i think. i ll keep trying with it and save it to try to get it fixed later.
i hope that both grandmas get feeling better... i dont think that grandma raquel can put off going to tamara's for too long so she should get better soon. tell grandma helene i dont even remember if my knee was still hurting or not after three weeks. its doing good now though. we walk a lot everyday and im thinking that is helping it out quite a bit.
i was thinking even to ask you to maybe send those ankle weights that ya fill with sand to start to build my thigh up again...
anyways all is good and the weather has been a little nicer to work in lately so were pushin right along!!
i love you guys so much!!!!!!!!
Have a good week!

hey mom!
this week has gone great and it got even better when i made it to the secretary office to pick up the package!!!! it got here just about the time that you said it would. lots of good stuff in there and i know that the member is gonna love the football. thanks for getting that for me.
tomorrow we have mission conference so im also excited for that. they're usually way good.
im glad to hear that the jazz are doing good so that loyal and robbie will keep their cool. thats crazy that they beat the lakers. all ive heard is that kobe is really tearing up the league this year.
me and my comp got a really good reference from a member this last week. we taught 2 younger kids all the lessons and they excepted baptism!!! we had there baptism this last sunday. it went really good. they are really excited about the church and they don't miss sunday meetings for nothing.
sounds like you had a good valentines day and all. nothin better than a good ol pineapple!! good times.
did arien and justin make it out of the snow storm in wyoming?? the snow in wyoming is crazy stuff!
so im not sure if my card in the camera is ruined also but i was able to put all of my photos on a dvd right before i lent the camera to them so i did save the pictures at least.
i thought that was so cool that brian got farmer of the year in franklin county this year!! he works so hard so i wasnt surprised but thought that was way cool. i miss workin on the farm with him. i would like to help him out still when i can during the summer when i get home.
spring should be reaching u guys pretty soon so that will be good. i love spring. everything is going well here and tudo tranquilo.
i love you guys and pray for you all. have a great week!!!!!!!!!!!

February 12th, 2009

hey family!
everything went good this week and we were able to find some new families that seem like they are interested in the message. were gonna return and see if it was true interest or not. thats kinda how the mission is. teach a good lesson to a family that acts interested but when ya go back they dont really care. its great though.
só freakin bênçãos!!! i hit the eight month mark!! we made some root beer to celebrate. brazil dont have rootbeer or mountain dew or dr. pepper.
sounds like you guys had a good week with the golden corral and the birthday parties!
the snow is still holding out strong there huh. i bet ty is loving that.
thats cool that he is liking his new job there at ron kellers. maybe this summer when it gets a little busier he could get on there full time.
i think that it is funny that people think that im am still going to the games because ty looks like me!! i think that by the time i get home he will change quite a bit. im just hoping that he doesnt get any uglier... i got his letter the other day with the few little pictures. juds truck is pretty slick. i love getting letters from you guys. jud is still working at the plastic place. im sure that he is loving that... no he just needs to get through it until he can find something better. he has been lucky that they havent laid him off. they know that he is a good worker. i hope that kris and the kids are still enjoying the new house. im sure they are.
the personal supplies are holding out good. if your thinking of sending a package i just need like muffin mix and deoderant and maybe a can of mountain dew.
oh and a camera if possible... i think that mine is done for. i knew that i shouldnt have lent it to the member but i did. makes me mad. i cant finish out the rest of my mission without a camera.... i guess i could buy one here but i just dont know how good it would be. just let me know what you can do.
my clothes are still holding out well also. ive had to do a few sewing jobs here and there but there still pretty, so no worries.
we played a little basketball today with our zone and i am so sore!! it has been a long time since i actually ran. i need to start eating less rice and beans i guess.
i love you guys so much!!!!! keep working hard and doing what ya need to do. Be happy!
até a semana que vem. tchau.

Week of January 31st in Brazil

Family
Sounds like you all had a good week and that your making it through the Idaho winter weather. i had a good week and we were able to find a few new people that are acting interested and were working with them.
My new comp is a good guy and were really working good together. he only has about two months left so he is excited to go home but we're getting the work done. he is from Idaho falls and he went to hillcrest high school. his last name is Sprenger.
The super bowl was a good one then huh... it actually passed on the tv here. it came on at one in the morning. a member invited us over to watch it with him but even if we wanted to we couldn't. i wonder if he actually stayed up to watch the whole thing.
I'm glad that stake conference was good. Brady spoke during stake conference? has he headed out yet?
I'm getting excited for this next general conference again. conference is awesome! i didn't think i would ever say that but man i love conference. just two more months.
Tell Krissy that i said happy birthday to her. she gets older every year but it sure doesn't look like it... she could pass as a college student. im happy for her and the kids with all the good things going on with them. Robbie and Kam finishing up with ball. i hope that Peri is doing good also.
Grandma Coats will be so much more happy when her knee gets all healed up. maybe she will be able to get back out in the garden.
So i lent my camera to a member this week cause she wanted to pass some pictures on to her computer but im thinking that it gave my camera a virus or something cause its not working now.... someone else in the ward is looking at it right now trying to get it working but if he can't then i'm gonna need a new one.... just keep your eye out for a good cheap camera just in case. im hoping that he can figure it out. i can't finish the mish with out a camera..... i'll let ya know if i really need one or not.
Everything is going good and i'm learning things each and every day.
I love you all so much!!! have a good week! and i'll talk to you later!!

Um a braço bem forte!!!
